Hello everyone! My name is Dallas and I am the newest member here at Cactus Collective.
I created this series of pieces to juxtapose the various effects of human urban development against the true beauty of nature. We, as mere humans could never recreate the beauty that the earth holds in its natural form. As we expand as a ever-growing, industrial world we must create environments that not only will be functional for future generations, but that will also be sustainable in the materials and resources used there. This is exactly why we need to not only be aware of the effects of urbanization and over development, but be willing to make changes in our lifestyles so that others may have access to the beauty of mother nature and her resources in the future.
