All about them jellies

JELLIES
OOTD

Sorry this picture doesn't show my outfit very well! My shirt is a pink blush crop top from Brandy Melville. They don't sell it online anymore but I found it here. My light wash denim skirt is from LF but it's basically the same as this one! I got my clear jellies at this random little store in London for like 15 pounds. I found them here for super cheap and the original JuJu ones can be found here

How to style: Glitter Jellies

Jellies are hard to style. Which is weird because they are clear so you can wear socks to make them any color you want, but I find them harder to style than solid colored ones. I was sorta scared and nervous when I got my glittery clear ones. I honestly thought I would never wear them but I got them anyways because they were so cute! I thought I wouldn't be able to pull them off, but honestly, you can pull anything off if you wear it with confidence.

I think clear jellies look awesome with denim. Denim is always the answer yooooo, especially light wash denim!! So you could pair them with a denim skirt, or denim jacket (pictured to the right) or denim dress! In the pictures below, the girl with the pink hair wears them with a denim dress and black sheer tights. The picture on the right features Kylie Jenner wearing her jellies with a denim dress and cute socks. They look great with frilly socks like these as well.

How to Style: Solid Colored Jellies

These are easier to style in my opinion. Honestly they go with basically everything especially if you're getting them in black or white. They can be worn with an edgy, girly, spunky, funky (basically anything) outfit. In the photo to the left, she's wearing her jellies with super basic pieces that I bet you already have in your closet! So just pull out a basic tee and jeans and you're good to go.

The photo to the right features a girl wearing them in a girlier way. She's just wearing them with a floral romper and I bet you already have a floral skirt or dress! Moral of the story is to buy a pair because they go with everything!!

SO basically I made this post to bring jellies back because I feel like I haven't seen people wearing them lately! So buy them :) Thanks for reading!!

Amvets Haul!

My sister and I went to Amvets a little while ago and I thought I would share some of our finds.

So my sister found these shorts but they were hemmed all weird so she cut and cuffed them! They're super comfy since there is an elastic waistband. Also they were only $2.95 heck yissss

This black cotton tee is superrr comfy and cute. It's cropped and the beads framing along the edge of the shirt are soso rad! The bead detailing adds a fun twist on a normal black tank.

Saw this jean jacket with flower patches, and I couldn't pass it up! It was only $5 and it was like nothing I had seen before. I like to pair it with leggings, a plain tee, and my docs.
My sister got this cream cropped tank for $1.95. She pairs it with a denim skirt and cute sandals or even boots! Just a great staple piece for the spring and summer.
So down for these black platform sandals. They were so cheap and I was going to get them if my sister didn't. But she found them first ya feel meeee
These denim platform sandals are so unique and trendy! I've never seen shoes like these before. Love these for the summer time with maybe a long maxi dress or skirt.
Got this super cool necklace for $1.00! I love the tiny purpleish maroon beads with the dark blue stones. The moon and star detailing on the stone is a cute and fun addition.

Definitely my most exciting purchase. Too good to pass up. Hannah Montana was my life and when I saw this I didn't even think twice about buying it. I like how it's a locket and it fits like a choker!
Looks like you've reached the end!! Thanks for reading xx Iris

OOTD!

yooooo I like this outfit! If you do too then continue reading!

My shirt was gifted to me from my lovely friend Haley. It's from Urban Outfitters and it the zodiac wheel on it. It's not on their website anymore though. My necklace is from a boutique in Del Mar called Urban Girl. They don't have the exact one I'm wearing on their website, but this one is similar.

You can see that my docs are kind of ombre! I love them so much. Also, my socks are from Free People and they're my favorite socks right now. Seriously though anything from Free People is awesome. My skirt is from a boutique in Santa Barbara called Dear Diary. It's suede and kind of velvety too. The boutique doesn't have a website, but their instagram is @deardiarysb.

Thanks for reading! And thanks to my sister for photographing! Also, Happy St. Patrick's Day -Iris

Winter Shoe Staples

Hi everyone! This is my first post so I hope ya like it (◕‿◕✿) So anyways I just thought I'd tell you guys about my favorite shoes for winter. Okay so can we just talk about how fabulous Dr. Martens are? They are the loves of my life and I got them for Christmas! They are so beauteous and in the light they are magical and I'm crying. I love how they're kind of ombre and at first I was going to get the black matte ones but these were just too cute. Also, they are soso comfy! At first I was like its gonna suck to have to break into them but they are incredibly comfortable which is rad. I usually wear them with leggings and an oversized flannel or with tights and a skirt and a cardigan. I'm so happy I got them and I definitely recommend them!

The model name is 8-eye vegan boot in red in case you were wondering! And the style number is 569399.

Okay so my next favorite shoes for winter would have to be my all black high top converse. The main reason why I didn't get black Dr.Martens is because my converse already kinda look like them ya feel. I have the normal black high tops with white laces too but these add more of a wintery and edgy feel. I usually wear them with cuffed jeans and a random tshirt. I really recommend all converse though because they fit my feet perfectly because I have super narrow feet. The only downside to them is that they make my feet look super floppy and extra long so that kinda sucks but they only look like that on my feet so I think you're good if you want a pair haha

And lastly, combat boots. I think I'm one of the last people to get them haha but I'm very happy I did and I love them lots. The ones I have are so comfy and they make me very happy. I love wearing them with thigh high socks and mid calf socks. I also like how mine lace up at the top. I couldn't find a picture of the exact ones I have but these come pretty close. Mine are a lighter brown and they aren't that shiny and glossy. But I love them and I definitely think that everyone should have a pair in their closet. Okay so thanks for reading and I hope you guys enjoyed my first post!
